All student grades for a course are accessible in the course gradebook, which provides a table representation of each student's performance.
The gradebook compiles graded items from various assessments within AME Engage, allowing you to view, modify, and organize them into categories. It also supports calculating totals in different ways.
When you add an assessment to your course, the gradebook automatically allocates space for the resulting grades and updates them as they are generated, either by the system or manually by you.
The grade book has many features with different views.
You can organize the grade book by expanding or collapsing categories.
To manually override or edit grades directly in the gradebook, you need to enable the Edit mode option at the to right corner of the page.
Scroll to the specific student and assessment grade you wish to modify in the gradebook table.
Click the three dots to edit the grade or directly on the grade field to change the grade.
Enter the new grade or adjustment in the provided field.
Check the Override box to lock your manual input and prevent the system from automatically updating the grade.
Click Save changes or Update to apply the new grade.
Once the grades are updated, click Turn editing off to exit editing mode.
